PM insists with EU Summit that people must remain at the centre of policies
When addressing the current informal EU Summit being held in Porto in a virtual manner while in quarantine, Prime Minister Robert Abela declared and insisted that people must remain at the centre of all Government policies.
PM Abela maintained the EU should address present realities as well as future priorities while working for equality, inclusivity and a more just society.
He said that as a Government, his administration will continue investing in initiatives that calculate people and human resource with further investment in education that put place people as a priority.
His Government will continue investing in Malta and Gozo and their people because it is a Government built on social justice and this should never be allowed to lapse.
The Prime Minister said an example of this is the help that Government has provided to families and enterprises during the current pandemic.
