PM meets Malta Dockers’ Union

Prime Minister Robert Abela has described the Malta Dockers’ Union, which represents port workers, as the role model for trade unionism within the country.

While meeting union representatives at the OPM, the PM said that in recent days port workers have played a crucial role while risking their own health.

The Union’s President, Ryan Fava, expressed his belief that industrial peace in this sector has contributed to the continued rhythm of national activity.
