Police arrest 20 more persons caught with drugs in Rabat activity

An Irish youth and another from San Ġwann are expected to be arraigned in Court to be charged with the trafficking of cocaine, ecstasy and MDMA.

The two youths were among 20 persons aged between 20 and 34 who were arrested by the Police Anti-Drugs Squad after a random swoop on those attending a party at Ta’ Qali last night.

The Irish youth was found in possession of 66 packets of cocaine while the youth from San Ġwann was in possession of six ecstasy pills, two packets of MDMA and a packet of cocaine.

Police investigations are continuing and more persons are expected to be arraigned in Court in the coming hours.
