Appeals Court reduces suspended prison sentence on Paul Sheehan

The Court of Appeals has reduced the suspended sentence on Paul Sheehan regarding the case when Sheehan was driving the vehicle of former Minister Manwel Mallia when he was involved in a collision with and fired two shots at Stephen Smith who had collided with the vehicle driven by Sheehan.

The Court presided by Judge Consuelo Scerri Herrera said from the proofs and evidence exhibited the Court was not convinced that Sheehan had an intention of causing Smith physical harm but that he had tried to stop the vehicle driven by Smith.
