Italian hunter dies after wild boar attack

A 74-year-old Italian hunter has died after being attacked by a wild boar.

The accident took place in a forest in the province of Alessandria which is part of the Piedmont region.

The man was hunting with his friends when he shot at the wild boar and cheered him on.

The boar attacked the man and injured him with his tasks.

The man was taken to a hospital in Alexandria by helicopter where he was found to have a hemorrhage.

Despite several attempts by doctors, the man died.

This was the first hunter to lose his life during this year’s hunting season.

Over the past year 14 hunters have died in accidents in Italy.
