Discotheques in Italy will reopen in the first ten days of July.
This was announced by Italian Under Secretary of Health Andrea Costa in a radio link with RTL 102.5 station. Costa said that this will be possible due to the Green Pass which will be in use from 1 July .
Costa explained that this step will be taken after talks with the Italian Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza. He said that the exact date when discos could resume operations would be announced later this week. In Costa’s words, it is time for the entertainment sector to slowly get back on its feet.
The Green Pass is expected to facilitate travel in the European Union and help countries recover from the adverse economic effects they have suffered in recent months. Malta’s vaccine certificate will be recognized by this system.
