Jack Merritt is one of the victims of the London terrorist attack

A man and a woman lost their lives after being stabbed with a knife in an attack in London two days ago. Three other persons were injured in what is being considered a terrorist attack.

One of the victims of the attack is 25-year-old Jack Merritt, a graduate in law and criminology who ran a programme at Cambridge University to educate jail inmates.

In fact, Merritt was killed when he was at Cambridge University for a conference on the rehabilitation of prisoners.

The aggressor, 28-year-old Usman Khan, had been invited to the conference after his release from prison in December. He had been found guilty of terrorism-related crimes.

Khan was shot and killed by Police officers on London Bridge, where a number of bystanders had surrounded him and held him down on the ground to stop him from continuing with his attack.
