Admits to causing damages to offices where he was employed

A man from The Gambia was accused of having caused damages to a door, an intercom system and security cameras at the offices of a company where he was employed. In Court, Amadou Conteh admitted to the accusations. The accused alleged that the company is still surveilling his footsteps and this is causing him psychological damage.

Police said the acts were committed last week and the damages caused amounted to more than €4,000. The Court ordered the man to be sentenced to two years’ imprisonment suspended for a period of three years and further ordered him to make good the damages within the next six months.
