Applications for Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 now open

Public Broadcasting Services Ltd has announced that applications for the Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 are now open.

Applications together with regulations may be obtained from the site Applications are to be submitted online by not later than 30th June, 2019.

During the selection process a professional jury will evaluate all submissions from which 12 finalists will be selected to compete in the final selection phases.

The finalists will perform and sing LIVE in front of the jury in a session that will be recorded and shown later on television and social sites between 1st and 13th August. During this period the public will be able to cast its votes for their favoured singer.

The public’s vote (50%) together with jury voting (50%) will determine the winner to be announced on 20th August.

This year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Poland on 24th November.
