Concerns over journalist’s disappearance continue to grow

As concerns over the disappearance of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi continue to grow, the Turkish authorities are saying that he has been murdered. Khashoggi, who has Saudi citizenship, disappeared after a visit to the Saudi Arabian embassy in Istanbul last Tuesday. On the other hand, Saudi Arabia has denied all these charges and said that the search for Khashoggi is still active.

Khashoggi went to the Saudi Arabian consulate for a document to confirm his divorce from his ex-wfe so that he can marry his girlfriend. His girlfriend alleged that she spent 11 hours waiting for him but Khashoggi never came back.
