Detained under arrest after admitting to threatening two policemen on duty

Somalian 24-year-old Sacid Mohamed Abdillahi was detained under arrest after admitting to having offended and threatened two policemen while they were on duty.

Police Inspector Leeroy Balzan Engerer said the incident happened in the early hours of the morning at St Julian’s when the man was drunk. It was stated in Court he was a repeat offender because it was only a month ago that he was released from the Kordin Corrective Facility.

After hearing submissions Magistrate Vella ordered the man be detained under arrest until sentencing after an examination of his previous cases.
