Pilù the Cat inherits €1.5 million

An elderly Italian woman Cecilia Anna D who died aged 88 and who worked as an official in the Presidenza del Consiglio, has left her whole inheritance to her adopted cat Pilù.

The woman, who never had any children and had no nephews or nieces, left €1.5 million to the cat she adored.

A note that she left specified that the inheritance should only be used for Pilù’s maintenance, veterinary expenses and all the necessities the cat requires.
