John Bundy new PBS CEO

The Public Broadcasting Services Board of Directors has approved the company’s senior management restructuring as the term of engagement of CEO Anton Attard nears its end.

During a Board Meeting the Directors passed a vote of thanks to Attard’s six year service to the company and public broadcasting during which the national station upgraded all its operations.

An issued statement said that directions drawn up by the present PBS Chairman and Board had resulted in Anton Attard giving a valuable contribution to the national station and thus enabling it to continually increase its popularityPBS-Creativity-Hub so that it regularly features in top spot in commissioned audience surveys which in turn provides a sound and sustainable financial base for the station.

The senior management restructuring sees the appointment of John Bundy as the new PBS CEO and the appointment of Charles Dalli as his Deputy. Both Bundy and Dalli will report to the PBS Chairman and Board of Directors.

The Board welcomed John Bundy who brings with him years of experience in broadcasting as well as Charles Dalli and augured them success in continuing to communicate national broadcasting and further enhance its quality and popularity.
