June inflation rate increased by 1.2%

Last month, the price index showed that the annual rate of inflation in Malta was 1.24%

Figures published by the National Office of Statistics reveal that the increase was the result of higher prices of food, entertainment and culture.  On the other hand, there was a decrease in transport prices’ index.
