Kangaroo invades pitch to play football

We are in the middle of the most important football competition ever, the World Cup, and it seems that football fever also gripped this kangaroo who suddenly invaded a football pitch during a match in Canberra, Australia.

Not only that, but the efforts of those at the stadium to make him leave proved fruitless because he held his ground.

The kangaroo sat down near the penalty area and did not want to budge. Fans at the Deakin Stadium watched as the kangaroo was removed from the pitch, but then saw him come back for the second time.

After half an hour running around inside the pitch, the kangaroo left of its own accord, and the match between Belconnen United and Canberra could continue without further interruptions.
