KorMalta launches 2019-2020 season

The Malta national choir, KorMalta, has launched its 2019 – 2020 season.

Chairman of KorMalta’s Coordinating Committee Etienne Bonello said that included in its plans were concerts with the national orchestra where the music of Mozart and Beethoven would be celebrated.

Artistic Director Riccardo Bianchi said KorMalta was at the forefront in promoting choral music in a way which encourages and promotes a love for singing.

Minister of Culture Owen Bonnici praised the success achieved by the choir in its first year. Dr Bonnici said that the choir continued to strengthen professionalism in this field and that the Government was committed to making arts and culture more accessible and that this was possible thanks to a varied cultural calendar with activities throughout the year, which manages to satisfy everyone’s taste.
