Launch of Worker of the Year National Award

When launching the Worker of the Year National Award, Minister Edward Zammit Lewis stated that the worker is the mainstay of the ecconomy, adding that this award recognises industriousness.

The Chairperson of the organising committee, Angela Agius, explained the eight categories open for nominations, as another category has been added this year.

TheChairperson pointed out that applications will start being accepted on Monday for nominations for the Model Worker of the Year, Manager of the Year, Employer of the Year, Team of the Year, the best company promoting equality, the best company promoting a balance between private life and work, the best company promoting social responsibility, this being a new category, and the main Award: Worker of the Year 2019.
