LISTEN – How did riots at Ħal Far detention centre start?

TVM has spoken with an immigrant from Sudan who lives at the Ħal Far detention centre and who saw the riots unfold before his eyes last night; riots which have almost completely destroyed this centre.

The immigrant said that he came back home last night and found everything burning. He said that everything started because of three immigrants who were drunk. The whole thing escalated so much that the police had to intervene and a whole commotion broke out.
