LISTEN: What former Home Affairs Minister said about alleged irregularities in Police Traffic Branch
Former Home Affairs Minister Michael Farrugia has stated that when he had received the first indications of what was taking place, he had notified the Permanent Secretary and the Commissioner of Police to start proceedings on the charges.
Minister Farrugia made his statement in reply to questions from journalists present for a media conference about repairs to the interconnector. Dr Farrugia stated that he had taken the issue seriously and had immediately notified all concerned towards the end of November.
