Local football world joins forces to help young Kane

Floriana Football Club has embarked on a mission. They have announced that all monies collected from the prima raffle will be handed over to the family of Kane Debattista, who is in dire need.

In a post on social media, the club is requesting supporters to join forces to help this young club supporter who is battling a serious illness.

This initiative by the Floriana club will be held today during the Floriana-Qormi game.

The story of Kane Debattista, however, has also touched the hearts of the Maltese, and many local football clubs have joined forces with the altruistic intention of helping this boy through the collection of various donations.

The Malta Football Association is also joining forces with all the clubs to support Kane. For this reason it has declared that one euro from every ticket purchased for BOV Premier League matches taking place this week will be given to Kane’s family.

The Debattista family has stated that these kind gestures have left them speechless, and gratefully thank all those who are offering their help.
