Malta is second European country to have cut down the most on its debt

Eurostat statistics on the rate of debts in EU countries in the third quarter show that, after Cyprus, Malta was the country which has cut down the most on its debt when compared with its Gross Domestic Product.

From statistics which have emerged between July and September, the decrease in Malta’s debts was 2.3 percentage points when compared with the previous three months. Malta is in tenth place among countries which have the lowest rate of debts in EU countries.
