Malta makes it to the Eurovision finals in Tel Aviv

Malta has made it through to the finals of the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 to be held this Saturday. Michela will be singing her song Chameleon at the finals following several years when Malta did not qualify. The last time we made it through the semi-finals was in 2016 when Malta was represented by Ira Losco.

The ten countries which went through the semi-finals on Thursday night are North Macedonia, the Netherlands, Albania, Sweden, Russia, Azerbaijan, Denmark, Norway, Switzerland and Malta.

These ten countries will now join the other ten countries which passed through the first semi-final on Tuesday, as well as the five big countries and the country which hosts the Eurovision, for a total of 26 finalists.
