Malta placed 16th at Eurovision in Tel Aviv

Malta finished in 16th place with the song Chameleon interpreted by Michela. The international judges gave Michela 75 points, while she won 20 points in televoting for a total of 95 points. The Maltese judges gave their 12 points, the maximum points, to Italy.

These are the points awarded by judges in participating countries to Malta – Ażerbaigan – 10 points, North Macedonia – 5 points, The Netherlands – 8 points, Montenegro – 6 points, Poland – 4 points, Italy – 8 points, Moldova – 1 point, Armenia – 4 points, Cyprus – 3 points, Russia – 6 points, Germany – 3 points, Sweden – 2 points, Greece – 5 points, Latvia – 1 point, Czech Republic – 3 points, Finland – 1 point, Slovenia – 1 punt, and Israel – 4 points.

Malta received no points from Portugal, San Marino, Estonia, Norway, Spain, Austria, Albania, Hungary,  Ireland, Belarus, Romania, the United Kingdom,  Australia, Belgium, Croatia, Lithuania, Serbia, Iceland, Georgia, Denmark, France, and Switzerland.

The Maltese delegation is expected to return to Malta on Sunday morning.
