Maltese artist Anthony Vella has represented fellow Maltese artists in this year’s UNESCO Art Camp. This activity is organised with the aim of getting together artists from different culture groups.
Mr Vella participated together with 22 other artists from five continents in the seventh edition of Art Camp, which this year was held in Ordino, in eastern Andorra. The artist said it was a unique experience and beneficial for him, as such occasions are a useful opportunity for one to share with others one’s experiences and one’s technical knowledge.
The Maltese artist had taken part in the third edition of Art Camp Malta, held in Għasri in October 2019.
Philip Cassar, Secretary General of the Malta National Commission for UNESCO, was among those present in Andorra.
