Maltese residents will be able to travel to 19 countries as from 1 July

Tourism Minister Julia Farrugia Portelli said that the Maltese will be able to travel to around 19 countries when the airport in Malta will re-open with normal flights as from 1 July.

During the programme Insights on TVM yesterday, she said that details of which flights will be opened, will be announced in the next few hours.

The Minister added that there will be mitigation measures in both the departures and arrivals lounge, including the taking of passengers’ temperatures and mandatory wearing of masks during the flights.
