Man arrested on charges of slightly injuring police officer after being caught not wearing a mask

A Spaniard who threatened and slightly injured a Police sergeant after being caught violating Covid-19 regulations, was fined one thousand and one hundred euros by the Court of Magistrates.

The Court opened with urgency to hear the case against Jordi Rojo Sanchez, who this morning was caught drinking at a beach in a crowd of more than six and was not without a mask.

When he was approached by the Police, the 33-year-old man fled, with the Police arresting him shortly afterwards. It was then that he slightly injured a police sergeant. Sanchez admitted the accusations, with the Court fining him one thousand one hundred euros.
