Man grievously injured after being run over in St. Paul’s Bay

A 44-year-old man from Birżebbuġa was grievously injured yesterday after he was hit by a car at around 6.30pm in Korp tal-Pijunieri Street.

The District Police who went on site confirmed that the man was hit by a Citroen C5 that was being driven by a 34-year-old Libyan living in St. Paul’s Bay.

The victim was given first aid by a medical team and taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.

District Police investigations into this case are ongoing.
