Man in danger of dying after falling the height of two storeys

A 33-year-old man and Qrendi resident is in danger of dying after falling the height of two storeys in Luqa.

At 10am, the Police were informed that their assistance was needed in a residence in Parish Street because a person was injured after falling from a height.

The District Police immediately went on the scene and a preliminary investigation established that the man had fallen while doing some work. A first aid team was called on the scene and an ambulance took the victim to Mater Dei Hospital for further treatment. He was later certified to be suffering from serious injuries.

Duty Magistrate Dr Astrid May Grima was informed of the case. She has launched an inquiry and appointed several experts to assist her.
