UPDATED: Man injured in bulldozer accident at Magħtab

A 42-year old man from Qormi was injured this afternoon in a bulldozer accident at the Magħtab waste plant.

The Police said that it was informed of the accident at around 2.45pm.

Police officers and members of the Civil Protection arrived on site as it appeared that the worker was trapped under the bulldozer. A Mater Dei ambulance also arrived on site.

Wasteserv said in a statement that its worker was hit by a vehicle and consequently suffered foot injuries. His condition is not yet known.
