Man stopped while driving wrong way in one-way street is found to have illegal substance in car

A young man, aged 22, resident in St Julian’s was arrested while the Police were doing their rounds yesterday. He was caught in possession of an illegal substance, allegedly drugs.

While the Police were doing their rounds in San Gwann, they noticed a vehicle driving wrong way in Triq il-Kappella.   They immediately followed the vehicle and stopped it shortly afterwards in Vjal ir-Riħan. It turned out that the driver was driving without a licence and was acting suspiciously.
