Man’s intervention in St Julian’s fight turns sour

A fight involving six persons occurred this morning at around 6am in St George’s Road, St Julian’s.

During the argument, two Colombian men aged 27 and 34, sustained injuries. The 34-year old Colombian tried to intervene to stop the argument, however ended up being injured.

It appears that a broken bottle was used during the fight.

The two men were taken with an ambulance to Mater Dei where later on the Colombians were certified to be suffering from grievous injuries.

Police are investigating the case.
