Many mourn the loss of of Prof Aaron Casha, sixth victim of Coronavirus

Many are mourning the sad loss of Prof Aaron Casha who is the sixth victim of the Coronavirus in Malta.

Prof Casha was a surgeon and academic specialising in heart disease, who had been suffering from a number of chronic medical conditions for a while.

He had been recovering at Mater Dei for some time, and died this morning at the age of 53.

Prof Casha, the father of two daughters, throughout his life contributed to the medical field in Malta,  including teaching a whole generation of doctors and working at the Department of Anatomy at the University of Malta.
