Matthew Chetcuti wins ‘Premju Soċjetà Ġusta’

Matthew Chetcuti is the the winner of the Premju Soċjeta’ Ġusta which honours persons who, despite their disability, achieve success in society through their skills and achievements. The award ceremony was organised on Friday by the Parliamentary Secretariat for Persons with Disability.

During the event, the Bank of Valletta won the award as the most inclusive company, while Premju Perseveranza was won by the Sultana family, composed of Martin and Joanna Sultana together with their children Ernest and Theo, who although they are all visually impaired, they live an independent life without assistance, except through their two guide dogs Albert u Hollie. The award was also won by Robert Vella for his perseverance to an independent and positive life despite his disability.

Other winners in different categories are the Autism Parents Association, Kurt Micallef, and band society La Stella Levantina Santa Marija.
