For the next academic year, MCAST will be offering almost 200 full-time courses, 24 of which are new, which vary from the fields of science, technology and hospitality to gaming. During the EXPO held at MCAST, which serves as an opportunity for students to be given advice on what courses they can follow, the college’s prospectus was launched which describes the courses on offer at this educational institution.
Although the scholastic year has just ended, MCAST has opened its doors for prospective students who are on the brink of beginning their new educational journey.
The Principal and CEO of the college James Calleja said, “These subjects we are offering are ones where there are employment opportunities. These are subjects which allow us to give the individual the chance to find a job quite quickly.”
Prof Calleja, while urging young people to attend the EXPO, said that this activity offers them career guidance from representatives of companies who need staff in various sectors.
Some of these courses offer apprenticeships as job experience, and can put young people in touch with their future employer, while employers can meet those who are looking for work.
The EXPO ends on Saturday, while the applications for MCAST courses will open on 23 July.
