MDA concerned about political situation and asks its members to take a step back

The Malta Developers’ Association has warned its members and entrepreneurs to be cautious and responsible in these difficult times.

In a statement, the MDA said that the PM’s decision to resign was inevitable in the light of the political situation in the country.

The association said that it hopes the Labour Party will reach a solution as soon as possible to elect a new leader which will lead to normality and stability so that the economic prosperity created by Dr Muscat can continue to be built on. It also said that recent developments are smearing the reputation of our country and this has already affected all sectors of the Maltese economy.

The MDA said that it was ready to work with the social partners to bring back the moral and ethical standards in the country while warning the construction and property industry to act responsibility and to take a step back.
