MDA condemns illegal waste disposal; demands action against offenders

The Developers Association (MDA) has condemned the illegal disposal of construction waste in public places.

This was said in a statement following concerns expressed by members of the public on social media, in relation to the disposal of construction waste in public spaces.

Although it understood the difficulties related to the disposal of such waste, the Association condemned such when it was carried out illegally.

The MDA appealed to the Government and all Authorities concerned to take prompt action against those who are caught disposing of waste illegally.

It also said that whoever was caught would face drastic consequences and would be held accountable, including the suspension of the license of the machinery used to carry out this disposal.

The MDA said it would cooperate with the authorities in this regard.
