Melvin Theuma released from Mater Dei Hospital

Melvin Theuma, the intermediary in the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia, has been released from Mater Dei Hospital.

Two weeks ago, on Tuesday, 21st July, he was hospitalised after being found in a pool of blood with neck wounds and wounds in his ribs in the bedroom of his residence. It is understood this was the result of his attempted suicide.

Initially, Theuma was placed in the Intensive Care Unit but was later moved to the ENT Ward.
