MESC 2016: Order of songs for semi-final announced

With just a week and a half to go before the semi-final and final of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2016, the order of the 20 songs taking part on 22 January has been announced.

Malta’s largest music festival will open with the  song by Ira Losco followed by the other 19 songs as listed below and ending with the song by Deborah C.

  3. LIGHT UP MY LIFE – STEFAN GALEA
  4. EMPTY HEARTED – DOMENIQUE
  5. I LOVE YOU – DARIO
  6. UNDER THE SUN – DANIEL TESTA
  7. THE FLAME – JESSIKA
  8. ALIVE – JASMINE
  9. FLASHING LIGHTS – RAQUEL
  10. GOLDEN – BROOKE
  11. LIGHTHOUSE – KIM
  12. RIGHT HERE WITH YOU – SARAH CRYSTAL
  13. FRONTLINE – DANICA MUSCAT
  14. KINGDOM – CHRISTABELLE
  15. LITTLE LOVE – FRANKLIN
  16. FIRE BURN – DOMINIC
  17. THAT’S WHY I LOVE YOU – IRA LOSCO
  18. YOU’RE BEAUTIFUL – LAWRENCE GRAY
  19. YOUNG LOVE – MAXINE
  20. ALL AROUND THE WORLD – DEBORAH C

Those taking part in the semi-final are hoping to win a slot for the final which will see 14 songs go through for this prestigious festival which will take place the next day on 23 January at the Mediterranean Conference Centre.  The winner will then be representing Malta in Stockholm, Sweden.
