Exceptions presented by the three accused of Daphne Caruana Galizia’s murder rejected

Judge Edwina Grima in the Criminal Court has rejected all the 118 Exceptions presented by Defence Lawyers representing the three men being accused of the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia, these being the brothers Alfred and George Degiorgio and Vincent Muscat.

The Exceptions included various arguments including the removal of proofs related to telephone calls, emails and other contacts that according to the accused should not be presented as proof to a Jury.

The accused also claimed that certain experts appointed are not qualified to express their opinion with the Court responding this has to be determined by proof in those who are called to testify in the cases of the three accused.
