More than 70 persons injured in gas explosion in Spain

More than 70 persons were injured in an explosion in the city of Malaga, in Spain. Four of the persons were grievously injured. The explosion seems to have occurred by a gas leakage at a cafeteria at around 5.00 on Saturday evening during a traditional festival.

Spanish media reported that it was the chef of the La Bohemia Cafe’ who raised the alarm on the gas leakage a few moments before the explosion took place. Scores of ambulances arrived on the scene to take the injured to hospital.
