More than 90,000 people have taken flu vaccine

In just one week, more than 90,000 people received the flu vaccine. This year, the flu vaccine campaign has been so efficient, that of the 100,000 vaccines that have arrived in Malta so far, 90,000 plus have been taken by vulnerable people and frontliners.

The Department of Health ordered 250,000 vaccinations this year. A second delivery is ordered for November. From tomorrow the vaccine will only be available from the ten health centres across Malta ( not from the polyclinics).

As soon as the second batch of influenza vaccine arrives, the vaccine will be available from all Health Centres and polyclinics.
