Joyce and Tarcisio Bongailas, are recovering from the serious motorcycle accident  which the couple had on Sunday on one of the flyovers in Marsa.

On social media, their daughter Lindsay uploaded a photo with her brother Jace and her parents at Mater Dei where she thanked all those who sent them get well messages.

She told TVM that her parents have a long way to go before they fully recover but the important thing is that “they survived and are still with us”. She also had words of praise for all the staff at Mater Dei.

Lindsay said that her father was always a careful driver, and appealed for action to be taken to reduce the danger posed by the barriers in this road.
