New Ukrainian President dissolves Parliament, calls early election

Ukraine’s new President, Volodymyr Zelensky, who was sworn in today, announced an early parliamentary election.

During a Kiev ceremony, President Zelensky said that he is dissolving Parliament, while indicating that his major priority is to end the conflict with pro-Russian rebesl in the east of the country.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volomymyr Groysman said he will resign this week and confirmed his candidature for the parliamentary elections.
