Nexia BT spokesman reacts to PN leader’s comments

In a reaction to yesterday’s comments by Opposition leader Adrian Delia regarding evidence given by him on the Vitals contract, Nexia BT spokesman Manuel Castagna stated that his evidence in court was to the effect that the adjudication committee of which he was a member had acted according to procedures established in the call for proposals issued by Projects Malta.

Mr Castagna stated that the Vitals offer had been the only one to follow the rules. It was stated that the adjudication committee was not responsible for or involved in negotiations which followed the choice of the offer by Vitals.
