No new cases of Covid-19 in Malta, three recoveries and no deaths

The number of active cases in Malta now stands at 59 after no new cases were identified between yesterday and today following 1,793 swab tests.

The health authorities also announced another three recoveries and no deaths linked to Covid-19 were reported, with the total number of victims remaining 419.

The number of persons who have been infected with the virus since the start of the pandemic in Malta in March 2020 is 30,581.

The new recoveries have pushed up to 30,103 the number of persons who according to the health authorities have recovered from the pandemic.

587,160 doses of the vaccine had been administered up to yesterday, of which 339,176 were first doses. The number of persons who have received the full dose is now 258,929.
