On Saturday avoid driving from Kordin in the direction of Marsa

Infrastructure Malta has announced that on Saturday fourteen beams will be placed on the Marsa junction flyovers due to open next June.

The beams weigh 38 tons and are 30 meters long, so some lanes will have to close from Sir Paul Boffa Avenue for the beams to be transported up at no danger to drivers.

Work will be carried out between 6.00am and 4.00pm, and during this time there will be only one lane open on to each side.

Infrastructure Malta has urged drivers to drive carefully, and if possible to use alternative routes from Santa Lucia, Luqa and Qormi. The road in the area of Dock Number 7 will also be open from Paola at Marsa.
