Opening of applications for Songcraft

Songcraft, a project forming part of a Spazju Kreattiv programme in collaboration with Aġenżija Żgħażagħ, in back in the wake of the 2019 pilot project which had given an opportunity to promising singers and authors in the 16 t0 20-year age group.

Those chosen will undergo a mentorship experience with three main exponents from the local music scene, these being Alison Galea, Alexandra Alden and Matthew James, with the main aim of continuing to improve their talents and moving closer to a professional level in their career.

At the same time, participants will receive training in the creative part of setting up and executing new music, and in the different ways of how their music can be delivered to potential audiences.

This process will culminate in a final event which involves a concert with the aim of promoting the talent of these youths through new musical material which they will be offering.
