Over 300 trees distributed to 7 local councils

The Government distributed over 300 trees to seven Local Councils. The localities of Marsa, Imdina, Fgura, Gudja, Santa Luċija, Ħamrun and St Julian’s were presented with the trees following their request to embellish their localities’ image.

Parliamentary Secretary for Local Councils, Silvio Parnis, recalled that the government wants to receive the reactions of the public on the White Paper regarding the Local Councils reforms.

He stated that the reforms will be crucial for the improvement in the way that local councils and regions operate for the benefit of residents.
