Over €15,000 in undeclared money seized at MIA

The sum of €15,400 in undeclared money was seized by Customs Officers at Malta’s airport.

Officer stopped a passenger who was about to leave Malta with an amount of undeclared money. The person cooperated with the officers and accepted that the money surpassing the amount of €10,000 are confiscated.

Since the beginning of this year, the Customs department intercepted a total of €891,936 in undeclared money in 38 separate cases.
