Paul Gauci donates €7 milion shares to charity

Paul Gauci, the majority shareholder of PG Group, gave € 7 million of these shares to charitable organizations in Malta.

The donation, which was part of the ‘Caring for Our Community program, was given to Malta Trust Foundation, Puttinu Cares, Bjorn House, The Ursuline Creche, and Fondazzjoni Sebħ.

Last July Mr Gauci already donated shares to Caritas and Dar tal-Providenza.

Mr Gauci said that he donated shares, and did not just donate money, because they respect them for the good they do in the community and want them to be part of the family PG family group.

Her Excellency Marie Louise Coleiro Preca, Chairman of the Malta Foundation Trust, praised Mr Gauci and his wife for the sense of social responsibility they were showing to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and
